In September 2025, the first Bible study book of DSRM, “12-week Recovery Programme I,” was completed.
This study focuses on the gospel of Jesus Christ. It helps participants look again at their identity from a biblical perspective and understand why Jesus Christ is needed as our Saviour, especially in relation to addiction.
The programme runs for three months, with one topic each week. Each session is planned to last about two hours, including the study time, allowing fellowship.
This study is suitable for people who do not yet know God well, as well as new believers who are struggling with addiction.
At present, “12-week Recovery Programme II” Booklet has been completed. It is currently being reviewed by respected and experienced pastors. This second programme is designed to help those who have completed Programme I to become well settled in a local church. It covers basic topics of the Christian faith, such as redemptive history, the order of salvation, the Bible, prayer, worship, service (and evangelism), fellowship, and the church.
This programme is not only for Christians with addiction issues, but will also be helpful for people who have recently started attending church.
Along with these two Bible study books, we plan to prepare guidebooks for each volume. These guidebooks are intended for ministers and workers involved in addiction ministry, as well as individuals who are seeking to address addiction from a Christian perspective. We hope to develop these guidebooks with the help of people who have greater experience and authority in this field.
If everything goes according to plan, we expect to publish the Bible study books and their guidebooks by the end of 2026.
